This International Women’s Day, we’re stepping forward for women’s health
Support us as we walk for women impacted by breast cancer
This International Women’s Day, we’re coming together to run for something bigger – and we’d love you to be part of it.
Our team is taking part in the International Women’s Day 5km Fun Run, raising vital funds for the Mater Hospital and the Breast Cancer Foundation. Together, we’re supporting life‑changing care, research, and outcomes for women at every stage of life.
Why we’re running
We’re proud to be taking part in the Mater Chicks in Pink International Women’s Day Fun Run, walking, jogging, or running 5km this March to support women affected by breast cancer.
Right now, 57 women in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day – that’s more than 20,000 women each year.
By raising funds for the Mater Hospital and Mater Chicks in Pink, we’re helping ensure women receive not only world‑class medical care, but also the emotional and practical support they need throughout their treatment and recovery.
Together, we can help women feel supported, empowered, and cared for – at one of the most challenging times of their lives.
How you can get involved
Donate online or in clinic at your next appointment.
Every dollar raised supports women undergoing breast cancer treatment through the Mater Hospital.
Join our team and either walk, jog, or run alongside us and be part of a movement that celebrates women and supports vital health services.
Every step you take helps raise awareness and funds for women who need it most.
